報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：

Jos Derksen obtained an MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente in 1985, and a PhD degree from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1991. He has been on the faculties of Delft University (1992-2007 & 2014/2015), the University of Alberta, Canada (2007-2013), and the University of Aberdeen, UK (2013/2014 & 2015-present). Over the years, his research has drifted in the direction of transport processes in chemical engineering and revolves around meso-scale simulations of multiphase flow, in many cases using the lattice-Boltzmann method.
