報(bào)告人簡介:
Dr. Zhang has authored or coauthored 120+ sci. journal articles, 1 book, and 7 book chapters during his 30+ years of research. Among the journal articles, 50 papers are first authored, of which 15 are single authored. The Scopus showed an h-index of 35. He received 6 best paper awards in 4 research subject areas. He is nationally and internationally recognized for expertise in a very broad field of erosion processes, erosion modeling, soil amendments, soil erosion tracing techniques, surface water quality modeling, development and evaluation of agro-systems models, and climate downscaling, as evidenced by numerous invited presentations, chapters, consultations, and awards. Several of his papers have had major impacts on advancing sciences in the field. His REE work opened the way for further development of erosion tracking and sediment finger printing. His downscaling methods overcome the stationary limitation suffered in all existing approaches, for which he was invited to give two keynote addresses at international conferences in China and Mexico and an invited speech in European Geosciences Union General Assembly. He is gaining international recognition on using sediment tracers to estimate spatial soil erosion distribution and to identify sediment sources due to the new direction and insights he conceived recently. He served as an Associate Editor for SSSAJ for two terms. He was selected as Overseas Assessor and Distinguished Foreign Scholar by Chinese Academy of Sciences.
