報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：

Professor Shahbaz Khan (Australia) holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Civil Engineering (1990) from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore(Pakistan); a Master of Science in Water Resources Technology and Management (1992) and a Doctorate in Civil Engineering (1995) from the University of Birmingham(United Kingdom).

Before joining UNESCO, Shahbaz was Professor and Director (International Centre of Water for Food Security) at the CharlesSturt University, Research Director at CSIRO, Australia. In 2008, Shahbaz joined UNESCO as Chief of the Water and Sustainable Development Section in the Division of Water Sciences in Paris until 2012 when he was transferred to UNESCO Office in Jakarta as Deputy Director and Senior Programme Specialist. Since 28 August 2015, Shahbaz has been appointed as the Director of the UNESCO Regional Science Bureau forAsiaand the Pacific.
